The BNY Mellon Early Learning center, Ellis’ Infant/Toddler Program, serves 41 children and families. The program is structured and designed to meet the needs of each individual child according to his/her developmental needs and areas of interest. The warm and nurturing environment allows children to fully explore their space, enhance skills, and build independence. Learning materials are properly selected to ensure that children are able to play and learn at the same time. Constant interactions between child and adult help facilitate play and establish healthy relationships.
Our professional teams of Teachers are trained in infant and child CPR and take part in on-going training and workshops, to keep up with the changing trends of early child-hood. On-going Parent Events provide parents/guardians the opportunity to familiarize themselves with their child’s environment and establish Parent/Teacher partnership. Our open door policy allows for the many families that work and/or live near by to visit, nurse, or just enjoy a little quality playtime with their child.
